EPIC appoints new principal in San Francisco office
San Francisco, California - August 5, 2008 –EPIC (Edgewood Partners Insurance Center), a retail property, casualty and employee benefits insurance brokerage, recently appointed Dennis Tumminia as Principal, Employee Benefits, in its San Francisco office.
“Dennis has worked in the insurance industry for more than 30 years and will bring in-depth knowledge of the business with a specific focus on underwriting, risk assessment and alternative funding models,” said EPIC Co-Founder Dan Francis. “Dennis is an expert in evaluating an organization’s employee benefits portfolio as well as its unique risk characteristics.”
Tumminia joins the EPIC team after serving as the director of the employee benefit consulting practice for MOC Insurance Services, Inc. in San Francisco. Prior to joining EPIC, Tumminia was also the area vice president for Gallagher Benefit Services and the director of employee benefits at Frank Crystal and Company of California, Inc. Tumminia is nationally recognized by the Self Insurance Institute of America and holds a National Association of Securities Series One License in financial planning through Quest Securities.
